How to reach Katchal Island:

From Port Blair:

The easiest and the most convenient way to reach out to Katchal Island is from the capital city Port Blair as it is also easily accessible. You can take a direct flight to Port Blair and from there you can either take the Government ferry which will take about 8 hours but if this is not what you are looking for then you can take the private ferries as well, which will charge you a little more but will cut short the voyage to 6 hours. Best time to visit Katchal Island
